Are Foldouts Always Shorter to Left but Longer to Right?
#24
Greetings to all.
Who can give a link to the full list of pages (with specific places on the pages) on which the Yale university carried out the restoration of the VMS?
Compare the f67v2 top left in the 2004 and 2014 scans. From scan 2004, two letters disappeared from the restoration, written in black ink, with which (it seems?) the mark “G” was also made.
The origin of the yellow “track” on the scan of 2014 (blue rectangle) is not clear.
Due to weak resolution, it is not clear whether this track is on the 2004 scan.
If this “track” existed on the original (before restoration) page, then this may be another proof that a bifolio (or pages), which are not currently in VMS, was cut off from the long clamshells.
