The manuscript as a data matrix - almarture - 22-01-2026

Hi everybody, I have a theory that the manuscript is not a book with sentences, but with instructions that link the sections. I have seen a pattern in the Botanical section that tells you depending on the day of the year, which plant should you take, but I need someone to backup my theory. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct transcription of folios 1v and 2r? Thanks. Alejandro

Could you explain a bit better what's happening here? Why are these words chosen?

RE: The manuscript as a data matrix - almarture - 22-01-2026

The first letter identifies the sign. Aries p. The rest of the word represent the days of a zodiac sign, 30. Chol 1, Shol 2, Chor 3... So, they are grouped by the first 6 signs in the first folios. In the following ones, you will find the next zodiac signs, starting with Libra l.

And you know, you move to the Pharma, and find pairs, and in the Baths sections, groups of 4. But I don´t know how they are linked.

Hi almarture, for transcriptions go to >voynich.nu > Text Analysis - Transliteration of the Text
at the bottom of the page is a table of transliterations, most used are probably RF1b-er or ZL3b-n but there are others the choice is yours.
You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.

.f1r starts with <f1r.1,@P0>      fachys.ykal    NOT   .f1v   (in both RF1b_er + ZL3b-n)

fchol does not appear till <f16r.10,+P0> ( in both RF1b_er + ZL3b-n )

I cannot find "amon" in either file    and 'eyty'  does not exist as an individual word in either file.
So i do not know what transliteration file you are currently using.

Ok, forget about it, I know this can´t be so easy. Likely I have been tricked by the computer. Aghh!!!  Big Grin

RE: The manuscript as a data matrix - almarture - 22-01-2026

I´m sorry for wasting your time with this, it´s incredible easy how you can believe a fake information, thinking it´s true... Well, I tried...  Smile

RE: The manuscript as a data matrix - Koen G - 22-01-2026

Did you use an LLM? As soon as you use one with Voynich stuff, your data gets polluted.

RE: The manuscript as a data matrix - almarture - 22-01-2026

I really don't know, I started to play with this some days ago. I suppose the transcription came from somewhere, but I don't want to go back to it. It's true it has nothing to do with other ones, so, no positive outcome. Lessons learned.
