the first check-in, alphabet and words - Petrasti - 01-08-2025 [attachment=11098]Hi, I'm new to the forum and would like to contribute some new ideas. Best regards Petra RE: the first check-in, alphabet and words - Ruby Novacna - 01-08-2025 Hello Petra! I think you're moving on too quickly to the final translation; more details would be welcome, in my opinion. RE: the first check-in, alphabet and words - Petrasti - 01-08-2025 Hi Ruby, yes, that's right. I've only posted a brief summary of my complete derivation. It only includes the alphabet and a single plant. In total, my derivation consists of about 100 pages. too much for one post ![]() RE: the first check-in, alphabet and words - RobGea - 01-08-2025 Hi Petrasti, it's nice that you want to contribute some new ideas. Could you perhaps provide us with some details about your ideas in your posts, ( rather than just dropping a big file ). From what i gather your idea is that Voynichese is a substitution cipher where each voynichese glyph stands for a latin-script letter, with EVA-ch and -sh, and EVA-a and -y being homophones, additionally EVA-iin and EVA-in are substituted as a single letter ( which is a nice touch ) You choose to substitute into multiple languages including English, Old English, Middle English, Indo-European, Old Irish, Gaelic. I hope you can correct any misinterpretations i may have made and provide a clear, summary of your theory in a paragraph or two. Thanks. RE: the first check-in, alphabet and words - Petrasti - 02-08-2025 Thank you for your feedback. In my opinion, every written character can be assigned to a letter. The resulting words can be found in the aforementioned European language areas. (Indo-European) Assuming my theory is correct, I would like to present the next post for discussion based on the word ban/weiß. Unfortunately, I can't add any faster my PDF´s because I have to split all into individual parts. I'll add the post about my personal favorite word as soon as I'm finished with the next text part. Regards Petra RE: the peacock´s eye - bi3mw - 02-08-2025 I would be interested to know how you got your alphabet. I once tried to assign the letters to the most common letters in Latin by analyzing the frequency of the Voynichese. The result is, of course, completely different. |
