Ruby, you can see some examples of Greek scribal conventions here. This site includes the titles of some of the sources:

The ones listed on the page are mostly the cursive forms. There were also some ligatures and abbreviations for the other forms, but they were not used as frequently in manuscripts (they were found more often in icon labels, sarcophagi, etc.).

It's from a website, not a book. I look at a lot of Greek manuscripts, and what's on the chart is what I see.

(Some of the numbers on the chart are Gregory-Aland numbers of certain Biblical manuscripts.)
