Moved the post.  This is the second time you've posted about Maria's solution in a different thread.  Please stop doing it - we have a one thread per theory rule, and this is the thread for Maria's solution.

As you can see from You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view., she is far from the only one to believe she has solved the manuscript.

Yes, my mistake. I came here to extract the link and accidentally posted here. Please put it back in the thread I intended to go ... about the meaning of gallows.  The poster can read my response and  see a link to this thread from which I learnt this information, it seems only right to give her credit. No?

I have never seen this happen to anyone on here.

People evaluate work presented, not judge people on their English. Unless you have examples, which should be reported to the mods and not dredged up with no examples years later, then most likely the work was not credible and this is "cope". The replies I just looked at empathised with her needing to use google translate and the criticism was purely on her work and incorrect understanding of Latin abbreviations and especially ones of the time.

Evaluating someone's work as not being up to standard is not the person being "badly treated".

From what I’ve seen, she is the only person on this entire forum who proposed a theory that even remotely resembles something plausible. Everyone else has done nothing. The entire forum has tried to use a Lego-brick alphabet with low entropy, expecting expanded results. She was the only one who discarded that approach, rolled up her sleeves, and worked with the actual written text. What she revealed, I’ve seen nowhere else. I believe she found the clue to solving it. Now please, for the fourth time , delete my account. I no longer wish to be a part of this forum. Or you can just keep ganging up the 'thanks for posting' votes. You bullies.

That's quite a bold claim and quite rude to people who have been looking into this for decades...

As far as Lego bricks, I think this forum has ruled out a substitution cipher about 1000 times now. So...

You have to understand bold claims always come with criticism.

That's what the entire scientific method and peer review process is about.

What kind of peer review process should just not question anything about the proposed theory / solution?

Huh

If you see other people thanking posts as "bullying" then I don't think the Internet is for you...

Lastly, you don't need to have anyone delete your account, you can just stop responding...

I have absolutely no clue what you are on about here.  When were the other three times you've asked for your account to be deleted?

I can ban you if that's what you like and delete your posts, but that will remove your ardent defence of Maria...

I'll just lock this weird thread. Feel free to open a new one in case anyone wants to have a normal discussion about this theory.
