The Voynich.Ninja forum is a free and open forum for the discussion of medievalia. This Forum is provided free of charge "as is" and may be viewed by the general public. Only registered users may post on the forum, and registration is open to all for free. The purpose of this Forum is to provide a place for all to come together to discuss Medievalia.
Please be aware that the Forum is a public message board which can be viewed by the general public. Any personal information that you disclose on the Forum will be available for the general public to read – it is strongly recommended that you do not post personal details or sensitive personal data on the Forum. No personal details other than a valid email address is required to register on this forum. We recommend that you use a unique password created for the sole purpose of accessing this site. Whilst we attempt to edit or remove any messages containing inappropriate, sexually orientated, abusive, hateful, slanderous, or threatening material that could be considered invasive of a person's privacy, or which otherwise violate any kind of law, it is impossible for us to review every message posted on this discussion system. For this reason you acknowledge that all messages posted on this discussion system express the views and opinions of the original message author and not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Therefore we take no responsibility and cannot be held liable for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy and completeness of every message. 1. The www.Voynich.Ninja Forum (hereinafter - "the Forum") is under jurisdiction of England and Wales. The Forum's administration (hereinafter - "the Administration") reserves the right to limit or terminate, without any prior notice, the access to the Forum for persons performing, by means of the Forum, actions inconsistent with the laws of England and Wales, and also to delete illegal content immediately. The Administration bears no liability for the contents of the posts (public and private) published on the Forum by its users, nor for any other actions undertaken by the Forum's users by means of the Forum. 2. For public communication on the Forum, please use English language, except for specific language subsections (if any) where that particular language should be used. In private messages, any appropriate language may be used. 3. Clear, intelligent and civilized conversation is most welcome on the Forum. Please remember that not all members are native speakers of English and limit your use of slang, internet jargon etc. 4. The following is prohibited: 4.1. Posts which are deemed to be spamming; 4.2. Announcements of events or other items deemed to be commercial advertising. 4.3. Ad hominem comments; 4.4. Flaming. If you got flamed by another user, please don't reply but instead use the “report” button to contact the Forum staff; 4.5. Actions deemed to be plagiarism; 4.6. Actions aimed at disturbance or obstruction of the Forum's operation (such as denial of service attacks, hijacking etc.); non-conformity with the specific rules of creating and editing posts in the Forum sections (where applicable); 4.7. Access to the Forum's information administratively protected from the user (hacking), distribution of passwords for access to the Forum's services and accounts; use of accounts of other users of the Forum; 4.8. Distribution of personal data on this forum is prohibited without explicit consent from the data owner and the administrators of this Forum. 4.9. Modification of own posts 24 hours after posting, unless with the consent of a Moderator. 5. Moderators have right to bring threads and posts into compliance with these Rules, as well as with rules and recommendations of the Forum sections. Please respect their work and don’t publicly dispute it. If you believe that a moderator has taken a wrong decision, please discuss that through private messaging or contact any administrator. 6. Provisions of articles 2 - 5 apply not only in respect to the text of the posts but also to usernames, avatars, pictures, labels (tags) and other information published on the Forum by users. 7. Persons judged by the moderators to be deliberately ignoring the Forum Rules and local rules of the Forum sections are subject to warnings or termination of access to the Forum (banning). 8. The Administration bears no liability for any direct or indirect damage, including loss of profits, arising for the Forum's users or third parties out of use of the Forum or information published on the Forum. 9. The Administration bears no liability for distribution of confidential information by the Forum's users or third parties who obtained access to such information at the discretion of other users of the Forum or in consequence of the Forum having been hacked; however, the Administration takes all reasonable measures to prevent this. Registration on the forum does not require any personal information except the user's chosen username and their contact email address. 10. The Administration reserves the right to modify these Rules, by means of a general notification posted on the Forum that one or more clauses have been updated. 11. By registering as a member of the Forum, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Forum Rules, and agree to adhere to them. 12. Use of cookies. If you continue to use this site, you are consenting to our use of cookies. This site uses cookies for numerous things, including (but not limited to) Registration and maintaining your preferences, analytics and user user analysis, and other third party cookies for things like Facebook or Twitter sharing. Managing your cookies and cookie preferences must be done from within your browser's options/preferences, you are always able to view and delete cookies at any moment from your computer or internet device. 13. Data protection. No personal information is collected or stored by this website with the exception of a valid email address. Users are required to create a unique password for this site which is not used anywhere else. Your IP Address is recorded with each post you make on this discussion system and is retrievable by the forum staff if need-be. Any information you provide on these forums will not be disclosed to any third party without your complete consent, with the due exceptions as stated by Law, although the staff cannot be held liable for any hacking attempt in which your data is compromised.
