There is an easy way to crack the manuscript, one has to submerge it into liquid nitrogen, let it freeze for a few minutes and then use a hammer or a similar tool, with caution, if the goal is to crack it and not shatter it completely. However, I'm thoroughly confused as to why would anyone be interested in doing this and I certainly do not condone this exercise.

Continue with it.
The only obstacle is a wide-spreaded, strong believe into the restrictions of entropy, which just turn out as a low h2-cond value, that is even very much depending on the type of transliteration you use -- "Glen Claston's" stuff comes up to 2.9, would be ok for some natural languages.

But don't try Latin, German or Italian: they aren't it  Wink

The Author was definitely educated and clever.  But that does not imply that he was rich.  Plenty of scholars who are known for their work, and managed to collect many books through their career, eventually died in poverty.

All the best, --stolfi

At least in our case, the author managed to convey his ideas Smile So, he could have died in poverty, but nevertheless he had some kind of resource, and this resource was embodied in the manuscript.
