This is just the start of a list of 'things' in the VMs illustrations that seem to have certain chronological information associated with them, shall we say. The more specific, the better. The first example is the Cosmic Comparison with BNF Fr. 565 (Paris, c. 1410) and Harley 334 (Paris, 2nd Q 15th).

The clothing style of tight cuffs on bloused sleeves occurred c. 1420 - or 1420-1430 or something like that, and comparatively similar hat styles have also been shown to prevail in the first half of the 15th C. as well.

The half-arcaded tub with nine women (f78v) might be connected to Harley 4431 (Parie, 1410-1414) Pizan's Muses.in an arcaded tub.

It would depend on if people thought my comparison was ok or not, but the crown on f72v1 may be related to Rudolf IV 1358(ish) in paintings and statues, 1414(ish) for a physical version. Seen in manuscript form 1401 (may find earlier, not looked very hard so far).
The identification of the VMs crown with the structural form of the Eastern crown certainly has some strong cultural implications. The difficulty is the chronological span of time when it was used covers too many years to offer much precision with what is known about it currently. It does appear that it would be anachronistic to a 13th century scenario.

The crown of Rudolf IV is certainly in order. He depicted himself wearing an imperial crown on a statue at St. Stephen's Cathedral, even though he was never emperor. But as a donor to the cathedral, he could afford to do so. Therefore, the crown is visible to all and known to many.
2. After 130 years of the Luxembourg imperial line, Albrecht II was the first elected emperor of Habsburg. Although elected, he was never crowned. He died 1 1/2 years after the election.
After that came Frederick, who was emperor for 50 years.
