cool: line one last word, thats maybe our "Gas" from 116v, the o is written like the "o" from tos, (after aladabas)
but horrible to read.
maybe one of our experts can read this....
my desperate attempt:
I have: daszom lait misch in (gossn/gotsn ???) disn crss+n allen valssn dez (liffes ???)
daszom = darum ? Therefor
lait = lead
mich = me
in = in
gossn two s in different letters? Maybe it is a ligature ) gots'n = gods Name - difficult.
disen = this
crss+s = maybe christus?
allen =all
valss'n (or valtsen /look gots) = falschen ? = wrong
dez = des (of)
liffes ?? = leben? life
and @ Aga we need more text, to clear Letters, sorry... and a source.
?
something like: Therefore, guide me in God's name, this Christ, (through) all false of life.?

So I've been looking at potential names for the scribe of the MS. L-52 (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.), in which the handwriting has such close resemblance to the VMS marginalia. I think I've found the scribe. He is called "Jodocus Cristen" and two examples of his handwriting survive until today. The first is Bodleian MS. Hamilton 30:

The second is a marginalia from him in this MS (in red, f.415v):

What do you guys think?
