If you need a negative one, I think this book is largely irrelevant if your goal is just to solve the MS and you have access to more recent sources and high resolution color scans.

But if you are generally interested in medievalia and possible historical context for the Voynich MS, then the number of topics touched in this book can be overwhelming, in a good way. I remember that I liked it, but I don't remember much in particular.
I regularly consult D'Imperio, for example when I want to know what people used to think about a topic. It has both relevant and outdated bits, but still stands as a major publication of its time.

This reminds me that I should add that convenience and accessability are key for the list. I wouldn't add any paywalled articles or the like.
I was just skimming through "An Elegant Enigma" and I like the way section 3.2 begins:

"The impression made upon the modern viewer first coming upon a photocopy of the manuscript (the form in which it has most frequently met the eye of students), is one of extreme oddity, quaintness, and foreignness⸺one might almost say unearthliness."

Now I remember that it was definitely a good read. Perfect combination of technical and emotional.
How about a library listing under 'Recommended Reading' for various topics?
A variation of what i suggested in my question thread, perhaps use the "thank you" button as an indicator for how useful a link is. Or allow some way for people to anonymously star which links they find more useful and promote these links more to the top of the list (upvoting).
