I repeat what I said then, in March 2024:


For me, as RobGea has said, the Rosette page is a representation of the medieval cosmos. And, honestly, it surprises me that after so many years of study, there is doubt in this. I also believe, like René, that the six containers in the middle represent the healing powers of the medicine that naturally come from the astral influences.

And also like René, I believe that there are a multitude of signs that relate all the sections of Voynich. Those tubes that we see on the Rosettes page are the same tubes that we see on the zodiacal pages and in Quire 13. For me they represent the pathways through which the influences of the stars are transmitted. We also see the containers in another section of the codex with roots and plants, a metaphor for the healing power of medicinal herbs.

Anyway, we can be arguing about this until the end of time. It's a way to pass the time, but not very useful for understanding this book.

I disagree on that.  I think the straight tubes/pipes seen on Quire 10 You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. and You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. are like the straight tubes/pipes seen on the Rosettes Page but I think the curved tubes/pipes seen in Quire 13 are different with the exception of the "cannon" on You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. .  I think the "cannon" is like the straight tubes/pipes.

I do agree that the straight tubes/pipes are for communication but I call it communication between the spiritual world (Heaven) and the physical world (Earth).  I think the curved tubes/pipes are biological.  I see the communication as more from God than from stars.

There is probably a tubes/pipes thread somewhere.  I'll look for it.

The presence of a celestial 'wolkenband' in the Central Rosette is a piece of evidence that should not go unrecognized.

I did find a pipes thread from 2016 but it is so far from current thinking I'm not sure I should mention it.

I have been thinking about the pipes/tubes on f67v2 - the star in a box page with 2 suns, 2 moons, and weird faces in the corners.  I'm not sure if those can also be described as pipes/tubes.  If so, they may be a 3rd kind.  Maybe the pipes/tubes on f67v2 are for communication with zodiac influences and the pipes/tubes on the Rosettes page are for communication with Heaven/God.
