Who was it meant for? Like how does this work in practice?

I am imagining, just maybe it was meant to conceal info. that is what I am thinking. I believe it was meant to conceal info cause nobody would draw little ladies like that unless they hate women

and I do not think that is the case Tongue

look at the hair.. those are not hair styles..

How it would work..
The people or person it was meant for would have to take a brush or something to lightly scrub and go over the letters with water maybe oil I don't know.
This would reveal letters in the text we see areas among other things.

They would do the same in areas where it looks messy and scribbled like blue areas and green areas. The coloured lines blur when wet and the spaces that have no colour create the 3d effect of glare or reflection.

There is also a reason why some areas are darker or gone over 2x on text or illustration. It would stand out more once it would be wet..

I also think it is multi layered in terms of information. That's where it gets tricky and mysterious...

There is so much info it's overwhelming..

Notice most of the little ladies have cheeks, the author missed one I think. Those are also clues...

I agree with Antonio García Jiménez on this issue. Personification of forces of nature was common back then. The sun had a face, the moon had a face, sometimes the wind had a face. Even today we often see illustrations of the sun with a face and wearing sunglasses.

The "little ladies" or "nymphs" were another personification of a force of nature. The "little ladies" were not intended to be real people. They are an illustration of a force of nature. A force of nature that they knew existed but didn't understand.

They were not concealing information. They were expressing information in the way that was usual for them.

Maybe they did hate women but hating women was not what these illustrations were about.
What is amazing is that 20 years ago (20 years!) Ernest A. Lillie posted a paper saying that the stars were souls and for 20 years his idea has been ignored.
Fake page in plain sight. This is the top left side. So straight not possible..
The page does not start from the top, it starts on a blur.. and ends not at the bottom, and also ends with a blur.

Do you want to know what I see when I look at this page that keeps getting splashed all over the Internet? I see the making of a baby. That is (at least part of) what this book is about. It is about a man and a woman making a baby so a new soul will be brought from Heaven to a life on Earth.

Am I really the only one who sees this? Or is everyone else too embarrassed to talk about anatomy? I see a big green male reproductive organ releasing the fluid that goes into the female and creates a baby.

Ensoulment. The non-plant parts of the book that have illustrations are about Ensoulment and what happens to the soul in life and afterlife. Ensoulment starts with the making of a new baby. The male + female.

The "nymphs" aren't little women. They are the male fluid, semen. We all know what the Catholic Church has to say about that topic.
No I don't see it. And clearly I have demonstrated that on this thread. You keep posting about this so maybe you can start your own thread and call it the VM, a sex/porn/anatomy book.

What is more likely to be contained in a manuscript from the early 15th century:

- Secretly encoded 3D messages that you have scrub with a wet brush to see?

- Information about religion and biology?
Well, both would be possible.
A 3D version could be pressed. Similar to cuneiform writing where the symbols were pressed into clay with a stamp. Also without colour. The best known is probably Braille. Printed and without colour. (Leather engravings, burnt or pressed). But since the book has already been examined in pretty much every way, I no longer consider it possible. A good theory in this respect.

There are simply too few details and symbols for religious people to draw conclusions. Biologically, it is simply too much to cover just one topic. There are many more processes than you can explain with just one topic. Plants and hot water alone would be tea. It can't all be about reproduction.
