Here is the result from the first batch of 20. ( You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. ) . The output took 45 minutes. I will hardly manage the other 19 without Colab kicking me out again Wink

Here's what you get when you start with an initial image and try to nudge it in a certain direction. (I made the initial images vague and simple on purpose). I wanted to let it make a VM plant, but it didn't work as well as I expected. It doesn't seem to be able to handle large, uniformly colored areas.

Maybe you could try adding some random noise? If the software really takes noise as a font of inspiration,  totally flat color is not inspiring at all.
Here the picture again without noise. It seems that it is not due to the parameters.

Overlaying with noise brings only limited improvement.

I'll try again with a contour filter.

There's probably not enough contrast with the blue.

edit: on the last image, Colab aborted on 100 out of 125 runs. So it didn't quite finish.

"if using an init_image you can adjust skip_steps for creative reasons,
Low skip_steps for a result inspired by the init_image.
High skip_steps to preserve most init_image contents."

You could probaly adjust the weight given to the init_image as well.
Might work, i've got no google drive so cannot try it.
I think the keyword "manuscript" pulls in a lot of interference from "music manuscripts". Therefore I tried to use the prompt "Voynich folio", which made it much worse. It tried to include some book cover in the middle.

Oh, this is more fun. Which prompt did I use?

[attachment=6537]
I was trying something else, which crashed halfway through. Still, the result is so pretty that I'll share it like this. Amazing technology.

Interesting, now it looks kind of Chinese or Japanese.
A mandrake with Codex Seraphinianus in the prompt.

The VMs turned out not too good with this:

Maybe, it's because of the weak illegible outlines of the illustrations.
My result is not of good quality, as my old notebook works too long with high resolution files, but anyway I'm happy to make something like this.. Thanks, Marco for this thread and link. I'll try to make something better, when I have time.
