JKP, thanks for the example. The King of Thailand had the longest term of office in the new era. Elisabet of England needs about 4 years more then she is the longest monarch in the new world.

Ramses II has 80 years of reign, 4 generations know only one Pharaoh. Even speaking he is a god for the population
Sometimes you have to ask yourself where the answer comes from, and where does it take me.

It's a principle of research.
Ramesses II reigned for 66 years and became 90 or 91 years old. Bhumibol reigned for 70 years. The Queen is almost at 68. They both beat him.
I'm not surprised I was wrong about this. I didn't even look.
What does surprise me is that it's been so long since I've seen the documentary.
I'm getting old. Confused

It is just the title "Hercog von Osterreych",  Herzog von Österreich, [Arch]Duke of Austria, not a personal name, it is an Austrian "Erzherzogshut", cp. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.
That's an interesting comparison with several similarities of appearance.

The best part is the array of triangular spikes, where various other types of crowns have crosses or some other patterned treatment. This is the style of the eastern crown.

A Herzog is equivalent to a Duke. So that is a potentially relevant detail, though not very specific. As far as the Valois Dukes of Burgundy, better a general reference that is inclusive than one that is exclusive.
Duke Albert but I'm trying to remember which one (the problem is the numbers are not in sequence because it depends whether it's Germany, Hungary, or Austria). I don't have time to look it up again. I have to get to work.
