Merzbow - Graft - VViews - 12-10-2016 While I was googling stuff for a reply to another post, I came across a Wikipedia entry for some Voynich-inspired music: "Graft is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow. The recording was inspired by the plant illustrations in the Voynich Manuscript." Here's a YT link for the first track on the album, Graft #1: You are not allowed to view links. It sounds like a pretty accurate rendering of what happens inside my brain when I spend too long looking at the Voynich plants. ![]() RE: Merzbow - Graft - ReneZ - 12-10-2016 To be compared with the piece by Hanspeter Kyburz, equally on youtube: You are not allowed to view links. RE: Merzbow - Graft - VViews - 12-10-2016 Diane, totally unwarranted jab. I joke about a music track, and your response is to mock me? Wow. You may have been bullied in the past, but it certainly doesn't give you a free pass to become a bully yourself today. RE: Merzbow - Graft - Diane - 12-10-2016 VViews Not at all - you completely mistook my meaning. The only point I was making is that where Latin herbals can be a bit hard-going, the Voynich botanical images are universally agreed mind...b*gg*ering. And so - why is that? Goodness me! RE: Merzbow - Graft - Koen G - 12-10-2016 Haha, the number of views on those things. We have entered a very obscure corner of the internet. The track Rene posted is pretty creepy. And the voice in the background seems to be listing races at random at some point: "Black! Asian.... Syyyyyyyrian!" |
