RE: similarities VMS and Bower ms (Gupta) - Davidsch - 22-08-2016 To write "scribal similarity" sounds a bit official.   Some characters are the same, but i did not take more time to investigate if there are more than the characters for X and L. I know there are people who think the VMS resembles Indian text.
