Could the cylindrical illustrations in f99v represent plant stem structures? - Kimble82 - 12-10-2026

Hello everyone,

I would like to present my own hypothesis concerning folio You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. of the Voynich Manuscript.
Could the cylindrical illustrations on the left side of the page represent plant stems, cross-sections of stems, or their internal structures?
To the right of these cylinders, there are illustrations of various root systems, tubers, and shoots, some of which may depict germination or early stages of plant growth.
I wonder whether each cylinder could represent a stem structure shared by a particular group of plants. The different plant parts illustrated beside it might then belong to plants that share a similar stem structure.
Has anyone investigated this possibility before? I would be interested to hear other researchers' thoughts and interpretations.
