Folio 67v1 and the new year - VoynichLurker - 07-08-2026
On folio 67v1 it shows the sun surrounded by stars and twelve labels, if these labels correlate to the twelve months, what would the order of the months start with? March? January? Has this already been discussed over and over and I'm just wasting time???

Perhaps, yes, it’s months.
I would assume the most logical thing — January/You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is the first month, and the first month is indicated in the top left as dazaizm.

Why not both roundels of 67r? Both are segmented by 12, one of shows even an outer and an inner ring, both with a dozen labels.
Why not 68v, the 2nd with some "blue blossom" in center: that one is having 12 radials with ~2 Vords each, could as well mean 12 months.
Problem is, VMS offers a bit too much options for some kind of "calendar". With bad luck, none of them are really a calendar, but show some other 12-symbolisms...
