Hi there!
I have an upcoming passion project for school, and I want to focus on linguistics and specifically the Voynich manuscript. I want to create a website with all the Voynich manuscript pages and be able to find words by the Voynich letters and other stuff that could help people with this. I'm unsure of how to start, but I was hoping for advice!

You would like to create a website? My experience in creating websites is that it is not so easy. It takes so much time to write the content, promote the site, engage with your users. Plus also having to protect your website from robots, AI crawlers wanting your content to train their data, web crawlers trying to hunt for information for malicious purposes.

Depending on your local internet provider, you may have access to prepared webdesigns, designing functions or a kind of workframe already = as soon as you booked a domain, some tools might be offered to you for start and filling your new pages.
But I think you knew that already.

By the way your project seems to be more about programming than linguistics. And It's rather a big job.
I presume you are not very experienced in programming. Do they really expect you to make such website for some ordinary course?

It's not for a course; it's this thing our school makes us do, and we pick the topic. I see this as my chance to show off my interests, though you are correct, programming might be too difficult, but your linked websites are very helpful; perhaps I'll look into creating other things for this project!
