Voynich Manuscript Day short slots and deadline extension - Koen G - 06-06-2025

The deadline for submitting presentations for Voynich Manuscript Day, to be held on 3 August, has passed. However, we still have room for 2 ca. 30-minute presentations, so the deadline is extended to july 31st. Don't hesitate to contact me with proposals or questions!

Additionally, we are trying something new this year. I will hereby post six 10-minute time slots (all in CEST). Claim one in this thread and it's yours, to do or present anything Voynich-related you like.

  • 13:00
  • 13:10
  • 13:20

First come, first served, so claim a slot and it's yours.

I will be happy to take the first slot (13:00) to provide some details of the book sale to Rudolf, with lots of nice pictures.

Here is my R$0 bid. I have no preference about the time.  I could discuss my thoughts on how the VMS was created and how that affects the attempts at "decipherment".  I promise to not to bore you with what my theory is (but only mention that it is definitely the right one  Big Grin )

All the best, --jorge

Jorge Stolfi for VMD 2025 confirmed! Who would have thought. How about right after Rene?

It is entirely your choice, of course, but I for one would not mind if you thought you could fill more than 10 minutes, and used one of the longer slots...

RE: Voynich Manuscript Day short slots and deadline extension - Koen G - 08-06-2025

Definitely, 10 minutes is pretty short.

Mr Koen I would like to take the 30 mins slot, could we have a brief meeting to show you the interesting discoveries beforehand?

Hi Chris,

Please send me a private message with a brief explanation of what you'd like to talk about. Or you can email me at my gmail: koengheuens@...

Thans for the offer, but...

I could talk for more than 30 minutes about the "Chinese" theory, but I would rather not do it yet.  It is enough to discuss it here in this forum and my webpages.  So I would rather present a few observations and arguments that may be helpful to any Voynichologist, of whatever persuasion. And I do't think I have more than 10 minutes worth of those...
