I'm in favor of No. 8. The plant has something of a fern about it.

Seems like this one is not as difficult as I thought it would be. There's also something elegant about the drawing.

Number 4, for me, because of the group given here, it is one of what I believe to be assembled from various images in a modern book of microscopy. That is, it is a favorite because it is one of several most "telling" of Voynich sources:

I think that we can identify such plants and other items from at least three specific books on microscopes and microscopic illustrations.

Difficult choice. I guess many followed Matthias' hint. Personally, I vote before reading the comments and I went for 1, but 8's spiral is lovely indeed....
