[VM Day] approaching finalized schedule - Koen G - 21-07-2024 So far I have gotten confirmation from everyone but Patrick Feaster. Assuming he is okay with his spot, the schedule for the day will look like this. This is the final opportunity for anyone to let me know if they had any plans discussed with Merri but have been left out. To people presenting: when it is your turn, I will allow you to share your screen. There is no need to send me any material beforehand. You are free to share any material on the forum before and/or after your presentation, as best suits your needs. I will record the whole event and post it to YouTube afterwards. You can also still let me know if you'd like the title of your presentation changed. RE: [VM Day] approaching finalized schedule - Lissu - 21-07-2024 My full name is Lissu Hänninen! And the composition will be around 9 minutes long (it's 8min 43s at the moment but anything can happen x)) RE: [VM Day] approaching finalized schedule - Emma May Smith - 21-07-2024 Can I just clarify about the "sharing our own materials" part? I understood that we should record the presentation as a video, which I've done, to be played. Is that still the case? RE: [VM Day] approaching finalized schedule - Koen G - 21-07-2024 Hi Emma. I wasn't involved in the planning of these things, just trying to keep the event on the rails ![]() I will accommodate whatever works best for you guys. If you send me a video, I will play it. If you prefer to present live with a slideshow, I will let you share your screen. Anything goes ![]() In case you have any video, it would be better that I play it from my laptop, since this will also be the one recording the event, so then the video quality will be better. You can use WeTransfer or a private YouTube upload. RE: [VM Day] approaching finalized schedule - Emma May Smith - 21-07-2024 Hi Koen, thanks! I appreciate what you're doing to keep the event going. And I think it is better to send to you, given that it should just be a click and play with no other intervention. It allows you to have control the whole time. I've made sure that the video has an introduction from me, so even that isn't needed to be done live. Any questions to me can simply be as in a normal meeting between participants. Let me know whether WeTransfer or Youtube works best for you. I'm happy to do either. RE: [VM Day] approaching finalized schedule - Koen G - 21-07-2024 It's probably better if I have the file, so you can send me the WeTransfer link. |
