I recently received an email advertisement for a new self-published book by Ianus van Altrideicktus claiming a Voynich solution (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.). I have not read the actual book, but the synopsis is not particularly promising: yet another abbreviated-Latin solution based on "multiple glyph renderings", yielding text fragments but no published complete translation. Still, worthy of at least a mention on this forum.

Some of these non-local, polysemic ciphers turned out to be related to each other. Through the shocking decrypted contents, the reader can also get acquainted with the alchemical and black magical pursuits of cryptographer giants Leon Battista Alberti, Johannes Trithemius, and John Dee, who are also identified as the most likely contributors to the Voynich manuscript.
Besides, the book offers a solution to a concealed riddle of painter Jan van Eyck, a contemporary of Alberti. This decrypted content appears pivotal in the understanding of the painter’s clandestine pursuits. The presented multidisciplinary studies, along with numerous contemplative photographs, reflect the dualistic, magic-filled world of these Renaissance cryptographer magi. This book can serve as a reference work for amateur and professional cryptologists, historical linguists, scholars, art historians, and can certainly count on the interest of the general public as well.

Did your copy have the rebus illustrations? The technique of interpretation is similar to heraldic canting. You need to know the relevant language.

Here is the Abstract of the paper:
"Abstract: This current work provides numerous quantitative, clear-cut evidences for the presence of at least four (encoding) dialects in the Voynich text. These are mostly based on the syllable and hapax legomena densities. Furthermore, this paper also aims at resolving the dichotomous division of the Voynich community concerning the nature and possible contents of the Voynich text by providing a coherent embedding explanation on the text creation in the framework of a self-cited polyphonic cipher accounting for the numerous puzzling features observed so far. Based on my proposed polyphonic cipher key (including medieval Latin abbreviations and word-ending truncations), I established a novel transcription of the full Voynich text, which can be considered as the first layer of decryption. This Latin-like text includes numerous Latin words, and its word-length distribution is consistent with those of regular Latin texts. These findings further corroborate the presence of an elaborate polyphonic cipher in the Voynich manuscript. Intriguingly, the long-standing division of the Voynich community was not without reason. It well reflected the dualistic concepts (toward deception) behind the creation of the Voynich cipher, according to my proposed decryption of the manuscript’s ars poetica encrypted on folio 65v."

I have looked at it very briefly and my first impression is that it seems better than the other ones that we get recently.
And it is not AI.
I didn't investigate it much but the reading seems theoretically possible.
Stuff like:
SISATER.ICTUS.CATALIS.VANISATER.ITUS.IFINITUS.SATUR.ATER.ALIS.CONTUS.ECESUM
would be some Latin based glossolalia easy to pronounce.
It is similar a bit to:

On the other hand claiming that VM was written through years by Alberti, Trithemius and John Dee is a bit like claiming that some book was written together by Cervantes, Shakespeare and Voltaire

The criticism of Timm & Schinner's self-citation theory is interesting... but I don't see the discrepancies between the generated pseudo-Voynichese text and the VMS as fundamentally problematic: they show problems/limitations of the generator, not of the theory.

The author was inventing words and altering them.

By the way I see some subtle hints that the author could invent these names while thinking of real stars - Saturn, Antares, Arcturus, Capella, Canopus, Sirius...
