It's more than just an interesting piece of metalwork. It's about the beliefs and events of the times - and to make note that those beliefs and events have some strong religious influences <Colette of Corbie>. There have been suggestions of various, somewhat subtle references to religious content in the VMs. It's a clear choice, when it comes to You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. costmary. Either the religious interpretation of the Assumption was intentional by the artist or is somehow 'imposed' by the investigator.
Historically it also crosses paths with the Order of the Golden Fleece.
