Here is my process for reading this.
I take a picture of each page then use Google Lens to identify the text parts, and then the translate option in Google Lens. The result is not perfect, as it combines the flaws of the Lens text recognition with the shortcomings of Google translate.
It is especially bad for recognizing people's names, which is not too much of a problem as many of those cited are familiar ones. For example, Brumbaugh somehow always ends up as Bobo or Brambo. I have to say that last one sounds pretty badass.
That said, overall I am usually able to understand upwards of 90% of the text on each page with this method.
I will post a proper review in my next post, but first I wanted to go back to a question RenegadeHealer raised back in post You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. in this thead, about the Voynichese glyphs on the cover.
That sequence of "Voynichese" text is apparently meant to be some kind of translation of the title of the book or an alternative title. On the inside cover, the sequence is repeated, with the title in English:
Then it appears again twice, after the introduction and shortly before the epilogue, but in these instances, the sequence is at the end of a longer string of glyphs:
It is surprising to find these sequences because the rest of book doesn't seem to propose any decipherment system for the Voynich text.
