I agree Rene. This has the advantage that m500 remains a reliable indicator of overall TTR behavior, even when all kinds of additional patterns are showing up at the lower levels.

If they are really individual words, and not part of a running text, this line should be above essentially all texts that you have. 

They are way above everything else, apart from one text I just collected: a Czech-Latin glossary (by Claretus). Rather understandably it's even more diverse than the VM labels.

Is Q13 supposed to coincide with a unique Currier hand? This would be interesting in the light of its deviant TTR statistics.

Yes Linda, the D'Imperio paper got me wondering about this. But as I understood it, she only had part of Q13? I appear to have missed what they believe to be the extent of this hand Z.

If this hand Z is a thing, it would mean that TTR correlates even stronger with Currier hands than it does with the two main languages.

Not necessarily. Note that on You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. I identified two 'dialects' in the stars/recipes section (Q20). They largely coincide with bifolio boundaries. The dialect that has a higher correlation with the Bio dialect of B also has lower TTR values. Not quite as low the Bio section (Q13) but almost

Thanks for the tip.
That was an incomplete transcription of a paper by D'Imperio, which I removed, but some link was still there.
It has now been replaced by a link to the paper itself.
