Nothing new, a summation of what we already know, but for the record here is a link:

The most remarkable quote from the article must be this one:

Quote:This summer [the Turkish family] plan on submitting their research to the academic journal Digital Philology: A Journal of Medieval Culture.

"At this point we're not exactly pushing a theory as much as proving a fact," Ozan, 20, told CNN. "We analyzed this and we wouldn't be presenting this if this wasn't Turkish."

I think they truly believe it, but if you make allowances for parts that don't make sense, one can take almost anything and wrestle something out of it.

Look how many "solutions" resort to justifications like "polygot" or "missing index" or to accepting utter lack of grammatical structure and then subjectively explaining what they think it ought to mean, in contrast to what it says.

I'm still very interested in input from native Turkish speakers. As an agglutinative language with many short combinable syllables, it's at least the right sort of language to check out, but after seeing their video and some of the logical problems inherent in their approach, I am watching with a certain amount of concern for what the results might be.
