JKP, I think You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. event was much more interesting to Voynich, it was just after 12 days from this letter and it was in Vienna. But,  most important, it is absolutely that thing, which could excite him as a Polish revolutionary.

.. and there we have a "Hipolit Śliwiński". Can't tell if any of the other activists's names fits, the second name after the &-sign on the note is hard to make out.

Anyways, it is an interesting thing to investigate how Voynichs book buisness intertwined with his "other" activities.

Mittelmächte, here it is getting into the weeds of pre-WWI politics. When reading the newspaper archives Anton provided (probably not the best newspaper, though) it is kind of alarming to see how everything was geared towards the great war in 1912 already. But Austrian eyes were mostly looking south to the Balkans, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey.. not so much inclined with the "Polish" question.

On 1 December 1912 Temporary Coordinating Commission of Confederated Independence Parties KTSSN chose You are not allowed to view links. Its goal was to coordinate the pro-Polish independence activities and support Austro-Hungary in the You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.. 
Voynich knew Pilsudski from times of his exile in Tunka. Polish Wikipedia says:
