The distinctive feature of this illustration is that in the second scene, the man with the knife seems displeased with the arrival of the women, who “distracted” him from his task. Perhaps this is precisely an image of the crime of performing an unauthorized autopsy on a deceased person (shown from above).

It's complicated: why draw the organs in such enlarged detail while condemning the crime? It's hard to know what's going on there without knowing the text.
This bifolio with four pages of illustrations appears to be inserted into the MS.

For now, I have a hunch that this might be an example of how “not to” study anatomy... Or perhaps it’s a hint about how the author obtained information about the organs

The lower reservoir is quite similar in shape to the bladder.
Although the two small reservoirs don’t look exactly like kidneys, they can be identified because they are located above the bladder.
