Although Urania is certainly still a possibility for the Voynich image, l do think it is well established that the Runklestein mural Woman illustrates the playing of a ballgame. Here is a blog post about the murals done through a project about medieval imagery which identifies it as such. The blogpost portrays the motivation behind the murals as representation of the “idyllic” court life - which includes amusements such as playing ball.

If there was a possibility of her representing a godess of fortune, l do think this scholar would have discussed that angle - given other mythical - fiction content that is included in the murals and discussed.

That should be MS 1591 of the "Castello del Buonconsiglio" in Trento.
It is one of the alchemical herbals, about which there are several threads here.
There used to be a site with quite a few images, but that link is dead now.

This image detail reminds me strongly of Quire 13. The uniform posture is striking. I think it is quite likely that the posture of the nymphs in the VMS ( in the tubs ) should say something. This appears to be an illustration of a famous story about St. Nicholas, where he saves the lives of three boys that have been murdered and hidden inside pickling tubs.

I found hypothesized that the original story was just St. Nicholas saving three men that had been unjustly accused but at some point it was "spiced up" into saving three murdered school boys that had been hidden away in tubs (Dorothy Riggle) - but I'd need a little more "connection" to truly believe that.
In any case, it seems it is a pretty popular story that has seen growth and change over time.
