I have made a small comparison between the description of the universe from it and the Rosettes.
That’s great; I’m glad there is interest in theories other than the traditional ones.

The tubes are the piles on which God placed the earth.
Which tubes do you have in mind? The pillars supporting the earth are located at the corners.
And it is immense cosmic winds that act as invisible pillars. Enoch describes seeing the "cornerstone of the earth" and the four principal winds that bear both the earth and the solid vault of heaven.
However, that is merely the firmament above the earth; the celestial spheres lie beyond that firmament.

The waves near the bridges between the Rosettes may symbolize the Ocean — in fact, an abyss, but depicted as primordial waters. In this abyss lies the land. Castles and walls symbolize God’s limitation of the Ocean.
Yes, this concerns the outer boundary between divinely organized space and chaos.

The canvas above the island is a mirror of the celestial vault. Onion‑shaped towers — the foundations of Sky.
This is the highest sphere, where the divine presence resides. Everything depicted on the rosettes lies above the earthly firmament. Beyond the earthly firmament come the individual levels of the heavens and the celestial vault.
It is not, therefore, a matter of the "foundation of the sky," but rather of the "foundation of the celestial sphere."

The chimneys in the T‑O map can symbolize wind tubes (or, more precisely, wind routes).
That is quite a good definition; it represents the connection between the celestial vault and the earthly realm, through which divine (angelic) forces act upon the earth. It encompasses winds and weather, as well as cold, humidity, heat, and, in fact, all occurrences on earth.

... Why not?

All-seeing eyes: Enoch (like the prophet Ezekiel) describes these angels as being literally "full of eyes."
These eyes are not merely decorative—they symbolize that the Ophanim see everything occurring in the highest realms of heaven and throughout the entire universe.
Nothing can be hidden from them.

The Role of Sighting/Watching Tubes
In ancient geodesy and astronomy, watching tubes (or sighting tubes) served as crucial components of the instrument:
• Isolation of Sight: Before lenses were invented, a hollow tube was used to narrow the observer's field of view and eliminate peripheral light distractions.
• Target Alignment: An observer would look through the tube to precisely align the instrument with a star, a distant landmark, or a surveying staff.

VMS – the depicted rosette represents the Second Heaven from the (Slavonic) Second Book of Enoch.
The Second Heaven is a place of great darkness. It serves as a prison for the rebellious angels (the Watchers) who disobeyed God; they are held there until the Last Judgment.
In Orthodox icons depicting the Last Judgment, a rosette appears in the scene of the resurrection from the earth and the sea, representing the moment when the dead are yielded up from the earth and the sea for the final judgment.
In both of these allegories—the apocryphal Second Heaven of the Second Book of Enoch and the iconographic scene of the resurrection from the earth and the sea—the key motif is a state of temporary waiting in a cosmic intermediate space prior to the absolute end of time.

The images on Ethiopian magical protective scrolls feature angels with a ring-like pattern on their garments. These represent watchful eyes. On the rosette, these eyes symbolize the guardian angels who keep watch over the fallen angels.

Details regarding page You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. can be found below:
1) A passage from the Book of Enoch: "In those days, the underworld shall open its maw and they shall be swallowed by it, and thus their destruction shall be accomplished; the underworld shall devour the sinners before the eyes of the elect." (Ch. 56:8)
2) The maw of hell represents the crater of Mount Vesuvius. People in the Middle Ages believed that volcanoes were gateways to hell.
3) The shape of the Vesuvius crater corresponds to the form it took after the eruption of 1631.
4) Athanasius Kircher visited this post-eruption crater and had himself lowered into it.
5) Stylized palm leaves represent the righteous and the elect who are witnessing the scene; such imagery is common in religious texts.
6) The red color of the stem and roots represents the fiery river leading to hell.
7) This analogy offers another possible clue suggesting that at least the content of this page was created after 1631.

This shape, derived from the rosette at the bottom right, resembles a magical seal of the Moon. Once again, the dating is later than the currently accepted age of the parchment. Is this further evidence that the content is of a later date, or is it merely a coincidence?

I am guessing that many printed items have manuscript precedents which predate them, even if not publicly published. Now that you mention it, I see it as plausible.

But I too see things of later dates and sometimes wonder...

How should one study the Voynich Manuscript?
The starting point for approaching the study of the Voynich Manuscript is the mindset of a Renaissance or Baroque Hermetic initiate. The Voynich Manuscript represents an attempt to compose a perfect Hermetic text concerning ultimate and supreme knowledge. It incorporates all three fundamental pillars of Hermeticism: spiritual transformation (alchemy), astrology, and theurgy.
Hermeticists strove for a profound understanding of the universal laws of the cosmos, the human soul, and the Divine principle—and, above all, for the inner spiritual transformation of the individual. Unlike conventional science or dogmatic religion, they viewed knowledge as a process that must fundamentally transform and elevate the seeker.
They based their endeavors on texts attributed to the mythical sage Hermes Trismegistus. The goals of Hermeticists can be categorized into three main pillars, traditionally known as the "three parts of the wisdom of the whole universe":

1. Spiritual Transformation and Alchemy (The "Great Work")
Although people often associate alchemy with the production of gold from lead, for true Hermetists, alchemy held a primarily spiritual significance. Lead represented the impure, unenlightened human being, while gold symbolized the attainment of spiritual perfection, the purification of the soul, and immortality. They strove for the transmutation (transformation) of their own consciousness.
2. Understanding Cosmic Connections and Astrology
Hermetists believed that the entire universe is an interconnected whole, where events at the macrocosmic level (the cosmos, the stars) directly correspond to events in the microcosm (human beings). This principle is defined by the famous Hermetic maxim: "As above, so below." Through astrology, they did not seek merely to foretell the future, but rather to understand cosmic influences and rhythms so that they could live in harmony with them.
3. Mastering Hidden Forces and Theurgy (Magic)
Theurgy and high magic served as practical tools for connecting with higher spiritual realms and divine intelligences. Hermetists sought to awaken the inner divine potential—which they believed resided within every human being—and to consciously influence reality through the power of the mind and rituals.
Hermetists regarded the Book of Enoch as an immensely sacred, ancient, and pivotal text that directly complemented their own tradition. In esoteric circles, this book was not viewed merely as a biblical apocryphon, but as a direct record of divine revelation and cosmic wisdom.
The Hermetic perspective on the Book of Enoch was shaped by several fundamental pillars:
The Identification of Enoch with Hermes Trismegistus
For Hermetists (and later for Christian Kabbalists and Renaissance mages), Enoch, the Egyptian god Thoth, and the Greco-Egyptian sage Hermes Trismegistus were one and the same spiritual entity. They believed that this being incarnated under different names across various cultures to impart primordial divine wisdom (*prisca theologia*) to humanity. Thus, when Hermetists read the Book of Enoch, they believed they were reading texts written by the very founder of their own tradition.
The Book as a Source of Forbidden Knowledge (The Fall of the Watchers)
A key passage in the Book of Enoch recounts the story of the "Watchers" (fallen angels) who descended to Earth and taught humanity the secrets of nature and the cosmos. For Hermetists, this was not a story about sin, but rather about the origins of the sacred sciences.
While the Orthodox Church regarded this knowledge as accursed and diabolical, Hermetists saw in it legitimate—albeit dangerous—hidden natural laws that ought to be studied and mastered.
Cosmology and the Ten (Seven) Heavens
In the Second Book of Enoch, the prophet traverses ten (seven) celestial spheres, uncovering the mysteries of creation and the structure of the universe. This journey corresponds precisely to the Hermetic concept of the soul's ascent through the planetary spheres (as described in the foundational Hermetic text *Poimandres*). Hermetists viewed Enoch’s journey as both a practical guide and a metaphysical account of how human consciousness can leave the material body and attain enlightenment (gnosis).
Enoch as Metatron
In advanced Hermetic magic and Kabbalah, Enoch was viewed as a man who, through his perfection, transformed into the supreme archangel Metatron. For Hermetists, Enoch was the ultimate symbol of what they themselves strove for: the spiritual transmutation of a human being into a divine being.
Sources on Enoch during the Renaissance and Baroque periods
Hermetists did not have access to the complete text of the Book of Enoch as we know it today. The entire book (known as 1 Enoch or Ethiopic Enoch) was lost to Europe for centuries; it was not rediscovered and officially brought back from Ethiopia until 1773.
Nevertheless, Hermetists knew a surprising amount about Enoch and drew upon four main categories of sources:
Biblical references and the tradition of the patriarchs
The fundamental source, accessible to everyone, was the Book of Genesis itself. It states that Enoch "walked with God" and, instead of experiencing an ordinary death, was "taken by God" into heaven. Another key source was the New Testament—specifically the Epistle of Jude—which directly quotes a passage from the then-lost Book of Enoch. For Hermetists, this served as clear proof that Enoch’s texts were authentic and sacred.
Citations by early Christian and Gnostic authors
Although the Book of Enoch itself had been lost in Europe, extensive fragments and quotations survived in the writings of early Church Fathers (such as Clement of Alexandria, Tertullian, and Origen). A crucial source was also the 4th-century alchemist Zosimos of Panopolis, who directly referenced Enoch’s account of the fallen angels who taught humanity alchemy and metallurgy in his writings.
Jewish mysticism and Hekhalot texts
During the Renaissance, Hermetism underwent a massive fusion with Jewish Kabbalah (giving rise to so-called Christian Kabbalah). For centuries, Jewish mystics had passed down texts known as *Hekhalot* ("Palaces") and *Merkavah* ("Chariot"). Among these was the so-called Third Book of Enoch (Hebrew Enoch), which describes in detail the transformation of the human Enoch into the supreme archangel Metatron. Renaissance Hermetists gained access to these esoteric narratives through Jewish scholars in Italy.
The Islamic Hermetic Tradition (The Prophet Idris)
Hermetic texts flourished in the Arab world during the Middle Ages. Muslim scholars identified Enoch with the Quranic prophet Idris and also with Hermes Trismegistus. When Arabic alchemical and astrological writings were translated into Latin during the 12th and 13th centuries, they brought this rich synthesis of the Enochian-Hermetic tradition into Europe.
Thanks to this confluence of Egyptian, Greek, Christian, Arab, Ethiopian, and other histories, this vast body of knowledge can be found within the Voynich Manuscript.
The Voynich Manuscript does not deal with plants, recipes, balneological procedures, anatomical descriptions, gynecology, or chemical formulas. That belongs to a much lower level of knowledge and a lower level of resolution.

Folio You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. features the root of the plant known as Solomon's Seal. Here, too, the image is not a botanical illustration but a hermetic protective diagram intended to safeguard and spiritually lock the textual content. The plant is called Solomon's Seal because it resembles these magical protective seals.

This is its name: ‘Dentaria glandulosa’, also known as finger-tooth root. "Cardamine pentaphyllos"

This is the root.

As the name ‘Dentaria’ (tooth) suggests, it was used to treat toothache.
