I don't know about the bubbles part but lots of things create flows of water. I often have trouble deciding if the flows in the illustrations are supposed to be water or air or something else. If you look at f77r, the five "outlets" from the arching tube at the top are often said to represent the five classical Greek elements. They are usually identified in this order, left to right:
Air
Water
Aether, Quintessence (the fifth essence)
Fire
Earth (Land)
I have a hard time distinguishing the Water from the Earth but I will trust that the blue one is Water.
I don't know about the thing the bird is on in the upper right on 86v3 but (I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me on this) I interpret the illustration of the cone shaped object with scales in the upper left to be a representation of the female breast giving milk. I don't think the illustrations should be taken literally. I think they should be taken symbolically.

Regarding f77r, I notice that the water flow is drawn in the same way as in the other pages. Also, since we are on the subject, in my view the blue water represents clean water, while the green water is what the women used after working with the plants, as they were considered botanicals. So I think this was a kind of ritual, offered by the sponsors to support the people who worked for them.

On f78r, in my opinion, the funnels are similar and are containers that collected water from the outside and then carried it inside the basins. The green water shows where they washed themselves after working with plants and flowers.

84v shows another representation of a water flow, similar to a shower, a cascade of clean blue water.
