Brief comment: You state that there is no strong correlation between the percentage of EVA [k]-initial paragraphs and the thematical section, but it appears to me that all of the highest percentages of EVA [k]-initial paragraphs occur in quires in the Herbal section(s): Q1, Q4, Q7, Q17. But then it is curious that you indicate that in Q15, the next highest percentage of them, such paragraphs occur in the Pharmaceutical section portion of the quire rather than in the Herbal section portion of it. (And I suppose we should also note the 16.7% occurrence of such paragraphs in the Astronomical section portion of Q8.) However, in general such paragraphs clearly seem to appear most frequently in the Herbal section(s), although only in certain quires. Yes, certain Herbal quires have it 2.5 to more than 3 times above the average, but, at the same time, Q2 and Q6 have it very low, that's what I meant. Herbal portions of Q8 and Q15 even have it at zero level. (16-05-2021, 12:50 PM)geoffreycaveney Wrote: You are not allowed to view links. Exacly, but then in Q19 which is fully Pharmaceutical, the figure is only slightly above the average. Hence this does not look to me as being dictated by the topic of the text. Furthermore, the topics might be very close to each other in fact, because those sections we, of course, categorize by imagery only. |
