When it comes to the language underlying Voynichese, I don't think considering a specific dialect is very useful. The βchβ as βkβ suggests a proximity to Alemannic. But it is only 20 km from St. Gallen Abbey to the Bavarian language area, and 40 km to Bavaria. Ergo, somewhere.
