At first I thought that he was still implicating the University, but of course this was written 10 May, before the University distanced itself from the publication.

Zero replies.

This is short and there isn't anything we don't already know, but I thought I would add it to the list because the author didn't just copy the news release:

I didn't notice this until now, but Cheshire actually started advocating repatriation of the VMS to Italy in order to provoke discussion.

He also made up a story about the VMS leaving the Naples-area castle in 1912:

That seems to be the same information as you posted You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. , though in a different forum, and one day later (11 May).

Rene, I must not have read it at the time, at least the part about repatriating it to Italy (maybe I was planning to go back to it).

It seems kind of a cheap way to stir up emotion in order to create interest in his paper. I feel rather relieved that there are no replies.

I think it would be a good idea to keep politics out of the forum.

I mean, I have heard there were veritable shopping lists before the war in Iraq  started, I am sure that must have been a lie

RE: Solved again... - -JKP- - 15-06-2019

Are you saying we shouldn't post links to Voynich researchers who are using politics to promote their published papers?

RE: Solved again... - Helmut Winkler - 16-06-2019

I said we should keep politics out of research, especially very controversial issues, you can post whatever you like and I would not dignify some people with the term researcher
