I'm sure this has been discussed at length but the fact that Capricorn appears to be missing, and we have two Aries, and two Aprils is weird. I wondered whether a different reading could be an initial C. The bs are similar, but the l isn't the same and I think could be a t, though I note there's no cross bar. I was looking at Occitan words, and Cabrit means little goat or kid. I agree it would be odd to suddenly have this when everything else is a month name, but my thought was that the writer didn't know what else to write.. I also agree that if he considered it Capricorn there are other C words that would have been possible..
Look, it's a random thought, and probably goes nowhere, but the advantage of being brand new to this is taking a fresh view. Of course if paleographers have looked at this and concluded it's Aberil, I shall go back to my manuscript browsing...

I have no idea how you would make "Cabrit" from either of the aberils. If you assume the same author for the the month names, we can work out from internal consistency which letters are which as some of the month names are certain.
The "a" is extremely standard, and matches the a in "Mars"
The "b" matches the other bs in octēbre, novēbre, and at the end of september.
The "e" matches the e at the end of novēbre perfectly, with the same pen movement for the top portion.
The "r" is a standard r
The "i" is standard, one with a dot and another without for each aberil (both i's are the same in shape though)
The "L" is standard, one with a looping top and another without for each aberil.
Crucially its clearly not a "t" as it does not match the t's in "augst" or "octēbre".
So its almost certainly "-beril", so an assumption that the first letter in the place we expect "April" is "A" is reasonable, and the symbol there looks like an A. If it isn't "a", im not sure how you are seeing "Ca" instead.

Another interesting octembre one. This one is from Normandy and dated approx. 1323. Notably, it has the big line above the e, I don't think we've seen any like that yet. Unfortunately, some names are badly faded, so reading is tentative.
Mars, Apuril, May (with circle on y), (I)uing, Iuillet, Aoust, Septembre, Octembre. Rest of months is missing.

I finally got around to adding this one. Another Octembre and some good other names for the northern part of France.
