RE: Alisa Gladyseva: Voynich manuscript is decoded - -JKP- - 12-11-2020 If I were placing bets, I would bet that it's more-or-less a substitution system and that it won't hold up under scrutiny. I could be wrong. More power to her if she proves me wrong. But that's my guess. RE: Alisa Gladyseva: Voynich manuscript is decoded - bi3mw - 27-08-2023 For a long time again a "sign of life" from Alisa Gladyseva. The lurid title of her video from April reads: The first time in the world! Reading of Deciphered Voynich Manuscript You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. To me, her attempts at translation seem quite constructed. edit: There was also a conference at the end of July in which Gladyseva participated. The title of the conference is strangely general. RE: Alisa Gladyseva: Voynich manuscript is decoded - nablator - 27-08-2023 Quote:According to the results of innovative research: the Voynich manuscript was written in medieval Galician (Galician-Portuguese). Its coding algorithm was influenced by the substitution cipher of using a polyalphabetic cipher for the most part of its text, as well as it was definitely influenced by transposition cipher for double ciphered alchemical text. You are not allowed to view links. Quote:The most interesting result in the encryption code of the Voynich manuscript that made decryption more complicated over the centuries was the use of polyalphabetic encryption that was used partially and simultaneously with monoalphabetic encryption (Gladyseva, 2019). But according to the history of encryption, polyalphabetic encryption was invented by Leon Batista Alberti in 1467, who identified the idea of using polyalphabetic encryption: multiple encrypted alphabets with change in a few words, which is why he was called the 'father of Western cryptology'. The present study of the text of the Voynich manuscript and the translated information confirmed the current analysis that it was written after 1467 (Gladyseva, 2019).You are not allowed to view links. Note: I have never seen a text on archive.org that consists of such blackened text. Not to mention the missing pages. As @Hider says: "Much Ado About Nothing". RE: Alisa Gladyseva: Voynich manuscript is decoded - nablator - 27-08-2023 Multiple alphabets, multiple languages (Gallician + Italian + Latin + Spanish + Occitan + Catalan + French) create a lot of opportunities to almost-match anything to anything. RE: Alisa Gladyseva: Voynich manuscript is decoded - Aga Tentakulus - 27-08-2023 @Nablator You forgot old Greek. She talks a lot, but doesn't say anything. Why do I get the feeling that it's only because of advertising for a book? |
