My copy hasn't arrived yet. I am looking forward to reading Rampling's essay!

Isn't the manuscript in her Princeton profile picture familiar?

The most striking image in Jennifer Rampling's essay (for me at least) turns out to have been on Ellie's blog already for some time, where I had failed to notice it.

More and more curious Smile
Here is a review from the NPR - you can actually hear the voices of Paula Zyats and Ray Clemens in the audio file

Is the book worth buying?

That really depends on what you expect from it. I think the essays offer a nice overview of things that are known so far, but most of that information can be found on the internet as well.

Most people seem to agree that the book looks nice and they like having an "official" copy of the pages in a physical form. So it really depends on if you want something you can leaf through, or if you are content with the online scans.

I am personally very digitally-oriented so I don't really need a physical copy. But that will be different for everybody. If you would like a physical copy and don't want to go through the trouble of printing the pages yourself, then I'd say that it is worth buying.
I'd say that for the price of $50 it definitely is.

DISCLAIMER: I haven't read nor bought the book myself.

I received my copy and I found it an excellent read.
The essays are written by recognized experts. Since (with the exception of Rene Zandbergen) these experts don't write about the ms on internet communities, if you are interested in what academic scientists have to say, you will enjoy the essays.
If you are only interested in reading a new theory everyday, internet blogs and fora are more than enough.
But nothing forbids reading both the internet and the book Smile

The photographic reproduction of the whole ms is of a very good quality. Opening the foldouts is a great experience!
I haven't even read it yet, only leafed through it and opened a foldout but, for the money, it's a very nice volume.
