Others have mentioned the possibility that this is the first page of the quire, and I concur, due to the fact that if this folio is first, the first graphics page would be the other side, f76v, of which the first graphic seems to me to indicate Sagres Point, or the Sacred Cape that Strabo said was the most western point of Europe (but was mistaken). Regardless, it also appears to cover the areas of Cadiz and Gibraltar which are also starting points for other descriptions of the world such as by Cosmas and Hecataeus respectively.

The characters down the side of You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. seem to me to have some resemblance to numbers, but not the same ones as found elsewhere.
