Very interesting, Don, I had not read that one yet. 

I found the rather superficial way Kwakkel wrote about the VM in another post a bit disappointing, but generally his posts are a pleasure to read.

I can second that.

Then again, it is just about possible (barely so, of course) that the Voynich MS isn't really such a key
document for medieval studies as us enthousiasts consider it to be...

That shouldn't deter anyone of course.
