While looking into medieval "stock images" (model books / Musterbücher) for dragon depictions, I found these images in the Reiner Musterbuch (ÖNB Cod. 507, c. 1208–1213):

The foliate tail, the delineation line along the wing, ears, biting posture, 3 toes.. I just want to leave this here for comparison to other depictions that were posted in this forum.
