Hi friends! It's your guy @JustAnotherTheory. It appears that the folio You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. in the VMS might be inspired by an Occitan love song?

Here is a comparison of the folio with different copies of the Le Breviari d’amor de Matfre Ermengaud from the 13th century.

As you can see, 4 figures pointing to each other. Several writing in the geometric areas between the people, and around them as well, can be seen too.

If I recall correctly, the most puzzling thing about the VM figures in that diagram is that they sit on the inside of the band, so with their heads pointing towards the centre. In other types of wheel diagrams, this is the other way around.
Wow, amazing. I had no idea of the richness of such an illustration.
