Just a random thought, @Labyrinthinesecurity: Would you try to run your ML machinery over some known text? I wonder if it could tell which Greek bible book is from the old or new testament, for example, or which NT chapter belongs to which evangelist.
Or maybe someone else has examples for text that includes several dialects from the same language?

Have you compared scribes instead of Currier A/B.  If you use Davis' scribes 1-5 as a basis I think you'll find scribe 1 is Currier A and the other 4 are Currier B with each being rather distinct in how they used words.
