There are also many instances of the "m" that starts like an "a", as in f116v:

I would be interested in knowing more about manuscripts kept in this monastery.

It thrived during the 15th-century Council of Basel.

Are there any Voynich researchers who live in Basel?

It is an "a" in anno, amantibus.
