Could small vord filler be a sign for meaningless text near plants? Look at the center of f36r. This text looks forced to me. What kind of a test method could we come up with to find out if I'm right?

This has also been noted on a few other pages. For instance f26r. Were all those small words really necessary around the fork of the plant stems? It seems that the author was just blindly filling empty space with bogus words.

What makes it meaningless? Words can be seen split by the stem in other herbals too.

Yes, it is suspicious. When there is very little space like between the plant stems or leaves then there is always a short word which perfectly fits that space.

iirc, MarcoP and EMS did something about glyphs and text intrusions.
I made a quick pass (not thorough) of words that occur between text-intrusion markers ('<->')in EVA ZL3-n transliteration.
Excluded are any texts from Start-of-line (SOL) to marker and text from marker to End-of-line (EOL).

I was thinking if they were filler words then those words may be only found between text intrusions but there are only a few of those.
You could make a complete collection of these words find what word comes before or after and see if there is a difference between normal text and text-intrusion text.
EVA-'sy' is quite interesting because of where it occurs

sy as eol 19
sy in normal text 4
