The Voynich Manuscript (its herbal part) is a kind of compendium of knowledge about our History, in a similar sense to the aluminum plate covered with a thin layer of gold, which was sent into space in the 1970s on the American space probe Pioneer 10.

My proposal for decoding the Voynich Manuscript is that each of its individual pages encodes some different information.

Encryption does not only rely on written form. There is also a whole spectrum of information, which, due to limited possibilities, was also encoded in other forms – e.g. using signs and symbols: see semiotics – from Greek: "semasticos" – significant, "semasia" – meaning", "semeion" – a sign from "sema" – a sign, image, signal.

And this is also how the Voynich Manuscript is encoded. In my opinion, it is not a classic written cipher, but a symbolic rebus – an ideogram.

The Voynich Manuscript, and in particular its herbal section, is, in my opinion, a kind of compendium of knowledge about the Evolution of Life on Earth – starting from its cosmological aspect, through the evolution of man (Darwin's Theory), up to prehistory, and also contemporary history.

In the further part of the herbal section, its author encoded all the most important events from our universal history with such accuracy that many a history textbook could envy his accuracy. What's more, the encoded illustrations of the Manuscript also describe quite contemporary events, as well as those that we will only witness in the future!

When considering the symbolic meaning of the illustrations of the Voynich Manuscript in its herbal section, it is necessary to take into account the individual most important elements of a given plant: root, stem, leaves and also flower. All these elements of the plant constitute encoded information.

Below, for a better illustration of the time-historical continuum in a telegraphic shorthand, a summary of the individual illustrations of the Voynich Manuscript (from 1R to 51V).

Interesting, I always thought that You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is about Puff, the magic dragon...
25V - Bourbons. Louis XIV.

Root: very unusual, resembling a human silhouette in shape.

Leaves: one huge thicket of leaves, resembling a flower in shape. Next to the root, some animal resembling a dog is attached to the leaf.
Flower: nothing resembling this part of the plant is visible.

---------------
Root: the human silhouette is an indication that this plant does not "deal" with any historical event, war, or specific country, but is a story about a man, the most brilliant representative of the Bourbon family - Louis XIV. "The state is me" - with this one saying, this ruler perfectly characterized both his person and the form of power he exercised - that is, absolute monarchy.

Leaves: the silhouette of a dog clinging to a leaf – this is a symbolic message about the Sun King - Louis XIV, whom we know from his most widespread portrait. He stands on it in an identical pose. [Image: 800px-Louis_XIV_of_France.jpg]

Well, your opinion Rene, does not surprise me at all. I realize that considering your authority and previous involvement in the subject you are very confused. In order to convince you and everyone else that my interpretation makes sense - below I will post two links to my pages where I post more of my interpretations regarding the Voynich Manuscript. I post there my version of the interpretation in parts: herbal, biological and nine-segment page 86v. I wonder if you will be as skeptical amused then.

I appreciate the effort behind your translations, but based on my knowledge of Czech language there is nothing in truth of your analysis.
While innovative solutions like yours may be a good basis for discourse, they diverge valuable research effort from more substantiated inquiries.

In my opinion, the animal ideogram on page 25v resembles a dog in its shape, which is confirmed by the indirect evidence below. I am not commenting on the fact that it could potentially be a dragon. First, a quote from the translated article:

"Louis XIV - the "Sun King" was not only the longest reigning ruler of France, who impressively expanded Versailles. He was also a lover of ballet, luxury and... animals. The monarch contributed to the popularization of poodles at the French court. He had his favorite named Filou, which in French means "cheater". Court animals during the reign of Louis XIV were treated in a truly royal way! - adored and pampered, bathed, cut and coiffed. They played a less charming but important role as "flea catchers", which, given the poor state of hygiene in the 17th century, was exceptionally desired by courtiers.

Louis XIV enjoyed hunting and the dogs that accompanied him on these expeditions. The monarch's beloved "sporting dogs": Bonne, Nonne and Ponne even had their own self-portraits, immortalized on canvas by the artist Alexandre-François Desportes. The aristocrat's pets had their own feeding room, known as the Cabinets des Chiens. Every morning, the "Sun King" ordered his confectioners to prepare delicacies for his dogs, which he then fed himself. He placed his favorites in chambers located near his bedroom, as did the royal mistresses. He ordered the billiard tables to be removed from the games room and beds for his dogs to be placed there. They were specially designed: made of veneered walnut and ebony and upholstered in scarlet velvet.

When Louis XIV died, in addition to the aristocratic elite of Europe at the time, he was accompanied on his final journey by his beloved hunting dogs kept by the royal huntsmen..."

Below is another important clue that can help us understand the intention of the creators of the folio 25v:

"The King's White Hound, the Chien Blanc du Roi in French, was a breed of scent hound from France that is now extinct. The breed was said to be the favourite of the French kings from Louis XI to Louis XIV. The King's White Hounds were said to have descended from a pure white St. Hubert Hound named Souillard that was gifted to King Louis XI by a poor squire from Poitou in 1470.

Final conclusion:
This animal clinging to the leaves on folio 25v (King Louis IV's robes) - this is encoded information about the king's favorite animals, which were hounds, an example of which is a drawing of an animal devoid of colors - namely the King's White Hound.
