The Voynich Ninja

If AI is advancing as fast as some people claim one might think that AI will have a part in deciphering the manuscript.

Unfortunately, the irregularities and oddities in the text of the manuscript are such that it is possible that it will never be solved. Probably people will still be labouring to find a solution in a hundred years time.

I think, the beauty of the VMS pursuit is in the fact that the MS has more than enough content for a lot of potential ways to crack the code. Maybe someone will find an unequivocal source for some of the images and this will produce much needed parallel text. Maybe another document in Voynichese will turn up in some archive and shed some light on the origins of the writing system. Maybe some advanced form of cryptanalysis will lead to decipherment. We cannot know yet, I think.

So, this could be a lucky active researcher in any Voynich MS related field.
