Here is an example from folio 84r, a bathing naked nymph with three hands?
Note that the third outstretched hand holds an orb.
I'd rather say awkward drawing. It's possible that the "third arm" is meant to belong to the figure in the back. Of course, this would make it impossibly long.

What if this section of the image depicts the superposition of two consecutive frames, the first frame shows the hand hiding the orb and the second frame shows the outstretched hand showing the orb?

I am wondering if there exist similar medieval peekaboo-like illustrations.
The artistic imposition of dual interpretations.
