As a segment of text that contains multiple repetitions of multiple vords, I believe the outer text band of VMs White Aries (f71r) contains the maximum concentration of examples. Certainly, this is true in the other VMs Zodiac text segments where it is difficult to find a single example of simple pairing.

If this is a property that might advance further interpretation, I don't believe there's a better segment of text.
Would this appear in the normal labeling of pictures?
It's the text segment in the outer ring of the circular bands of text on VMs White Aries - not the 'normal labeling of pictures'.
I don't see repeating of vords in the outer band.  Maybe if you copied the image and numbered the vords that are similar then I could understand your logic here.

Thank you nablator and Rsale that is interesting.
The Takahashi transcription of the outer ring, beginning at the decoration at 10:30:

Noting that [q] doesn't appear until the end of the sequence.

It is very much outdated. No q on this page.

In my opinion:
olkeeody okody okeeedy oky eey okeodar okeoky oteody oto otol oteey ar yko oar aiin oekeeey okeokeokeody okeodar chy s aiin otokeoar os ar al otol al ShcKhy oteeeodar oteody otol aiin Shoekey sal al ald cheeokeeo ??oeky choly

Thank you, nablator. That is *beautiful*. It clearly shows the double and triple repetitions in this short text segment, which is unique in the Zodiac circles.

As to the "decoration at 10:30", in my investigations, I learned of these patterns from Stolfi's transcriptions, where he called them "'start here' markers". So, I have called them Stolfi's markers. VMs White Aries has a pair of similar markers. Both markers are associated with the "nymph" in a blue-striped tub in the outer ring of characters. The first marker is in the outer ring of text, just beyond the "nymph's" reach, while the second marker is attached below the "nymph's" tub - two rectangles with a common side. A similar, third marker can be found in VMs Cancer.

Outside the zodiac sequence, less elaborate versions of Stolfi's markers can be found in the VMs cosmos and the central rosette, for starters.

Seen from a 'puzzle' perspective, the markers clearly designate specific segments of text. The marked text segments clearly "have the capacity" to function as a sort of segmented steganography.

And what about the "nymph" in the blue-striped tub connected to the second Stolfi's marker. None other than the <disguised> heraldic representation of Pope Innocent IV, to confirm the marker's significance.
While I see the abundant repetitions, I do wonder whether this part is considered especially rich in them based on a visual impression, or if there is some metric that could be used to quantify it.

I wonder about this, because impressions may be subjective, and it is possible, even likely, that not all parts of the text have been looked at equally intensively, or even at all.

The absence of q is certainly interesting. This is something that the zodial labels and the zodiac circular texts have in common. That is however markedly more the case in the 'early' signs (which includes Aries) than in the later signs.
