I do hope someone can go.  It’s too bad that this work is not going to be presented online.  On the other hand, l’m not holding my breath as my understanding is that this work was to be presented several years ago and the presenter backed out at the last minute.  My experience with this kind of situation has not proven beneficial to the quality of the content when ultimately made public.

Of course progress could have been made since the original promised disclosure, perhaps, or maybe the presenter really was ill and this is truly the first time this information could be made public since.  I am just not holding out too high of expectations.  Bottom line, my couple of years following VM related “announcements,” comparisons to past “announcements” and what ultimately was provided, and the parallel situations surrounding this one don’t add up to a likely positive outcome.  But l would be happily proven wrong.
I am sure that all discoveries will reach the public in due time Smile

There is a record in Slovenian sources that the great great grandfather of Rudolf II, Maximillian I, spoke well Slovenian language. He was being though how to speak Slovenian by Thomas of Cilli, also known as Thomas Prelogar, who was trusted secretary of Emeperor Frederick III, and tutor of his son Maximillian. It is also stated that Prelogar wrote a Slovenian grammar book and Slovenian dictionary, but both books, like many others were lost. Prelogar later became bishop of Constance. (More about that can be found on my web page)
Cvetka, please discuss your Slovenian theory in a separate thread. It appears as off-topic to others when you introduce it in unrelated discussions.
